aaah, instant messaging (will now be referred to as IM)
what a wonderful invention
the perfect excuse for slipping grades, and at the same time, so amazingly powerful
what is there to say about it other than the fact that i absolutely love it
of course, the best IMing that can possible be provided has been done with chat rooms
simply wonderful, you can actually talk to MORE THAN ONE PERSON AT A TIME
i know, it totally beats talking to people in person, doesnt it? (hint sarcasm hint)
in general, i think IMing is a total waste of time, yet i cant seem to stop doing it
i mean, my house is so boring anyways that talking to my friends is the perfect waste of time
and of course, some things are just so much easier to say when it appears magically on screen, instead of completely unmagically out of your mouth
and for some reason, there is that small pleasure of hitting the enter key whenever u finish saying something
whenever i look at that key now, i think about IM, and how one day, when i finish typing frantically, i will hit that key and suddenly...
